Lloyd’s re/insurer Inigo elevates insider to key leadership role

Lloyd’s specialty re/insurer  Inigo has tapped one of its own, a chief of staff, to take up the position of chief operating officer (COO).

Alice Kaye (pictured) has been appointed as new COO of Inigo Insurance. She replaces Karen Graves who served in the role from October 2020 to December 2021.

Inigo was founded in 2020 by Richard Watson, former chief underwriting officer of Hiscox, along with Russell Merrett and Stuart Bridges.

Graves joined Inigo for the initial year from reinsurer SCOR, where she served for over nine years, most recently as COO of London hub.

Kaye came to Inigo in May last year from Everest Reinsurance, where she served as casualty treaty underwriter. Prior to that, she worked at PartnerRe in senior underwriting roles, having started her career at Tokio Marine HCC.
