Megan McConnell, an active underwriter of Paraline’s Lloyd’s syndicate 4242, is set to depart to pursue a new opportunity in the London market, according to a Dec. 4 statement by Lloyd's third-party managing agent Asta.
Asta’s director of underwriting Simon Norton will act as interim active underwriter until a permanent replacement is found.
McConnell is expected to leave Paraline in March 2018, and will retain full underwriting responsibility until that time, it added.
Bruce Schnitzer, chairman of Paraline, said: "Megan has played a significant part in Paraline’s success and we are sad to see her go. I would like to wish her the very best in her next role and offer our sincere thanks for her time at syndicate 4242."
