Lockton picks new chief digital officer to drive innovation

Insurance broker Lockton has appointed Said Taiym as executive vice president and chief digital officer.

Most recently, Taiym was the senior vice president and chief information officer for workers’ compensation provider AF Group. Known as an "expert in leading change and creating technology innovations", Taiym has previously worked for industry leaders including XL Group and Zurich North America.

In his new global role, Taiym will focus on digital innovation and new technologies to help Lockton Associates transform how they deliver strategic risk solutions for clients. He will report to Ron Lockton, president and CEO.

Lockton said: “In Said, we found a fabulous executive and the best possible fit for Lockton. Said has a unique combination of expertise in business, insurance and digital. Not only will Said help us improve Lockton’s business, but he will also help lead change in our industry to deliver a better overall customer experience.”
