Lockton Re continues hiring spree from Guy Carpenter aviation team

Lockton Re, the reinsurance arm of broker Lockton, has further strengthened its aviation and aerospace practice in London with another senior hire from Guy Carpenter.

Jon Warner will join Lockton Re in London as a senior account manager in the aviation & aerospace practice, early next year.

Warner started his career at Hogg Robinson in the late 70’s spending a decade there before holding key positions at Alexander Forbes, Aon, Lockton, and JLT Re, respectively. He was most recently part of the aviation team at Guy Carpenter.

The appointment follows that of Dominic Riley and Graham Barden, both joining the company from Guy Carpenter in early 2021.

Keith Harrison, CEO International, Lockton Re, said: “We are continuing to build out Lockton Re’s Specialty capability and Jon brings a breadth of experience and expertise in the Aviation and Aerospace field. With over 40 years in the London Market he is a great addition to this growing capability and we look forward to working with him.”

Ross Howard, global executive chairman, added: “Jon is a great fit for Lockton Re both in terms of our culture and our business ethos. The global team now exceeds 150 people and we continue to go from strength to strength as a business.”
