Marsh appoints new CEO of MGU Victor Insurance

Insurance broker and risk advisor Marsh has appointed a new chief executive of its managing general underwriter (MGU) Victor Insurance Holdings.

Brian Hanuschak will served at Victor Insurance CEO, reporting to John Doyle, president and CEO of Marsh. He will be based in Chevy Chase, Maryland.

Hanuschak most recently served as president of Victor North America and prior to that was president of Victor O. Schinnerer & Company, now Victor US.

In his expanded role, he will oversee Victor’s global businesses including Victor North America, ICAT, Dovetail, and Victor International.

Doyle said: “Victor is an important part of Marsh’s growth strategy and Brian’s expanded role will help ensure that carriers and agents around the world benefit from Victor’s cutting-edge digital distribution and underwriting platforms.”

Hanuschak commented: “Through advanced technology and an innovative approach to matching risk, distribution, and access to capital, Victor is well positioned to offer a wide range of innovative insurance products and services to our clients.
