Marsh partners with insurtech VC fund Eos on real-time risk management solution

Specialist venture capital fund Eos has partnered with broker Marsh to develop innovative insurtech solutions that will deliver 'actionable intelligence' to drive real-time risk management within the insurance marketplace.

Eos Venture Partners and Marsh will collaborate on sharing economy solutions by leveraging Marsh’s new cloud-based digital broker platform, Bluestream.

The partnership follows Marsh's initial tie-up with London-based insurtech company Concirrus to deliver real-time analytics in the global marine sector.

“A confluence of trends, including real-time data streaming and analytics driven by artificial intelligence, is enabling businesses and the insurance industry to move toward real-time risk management,” said John Drzik, president, global risk and digital at Marsh. “We see great opportunity to innovate solutions that have large-scale impacts for a wide range of our clients.”

Jonathan Kalman, a founding partner of Eos, said: “Eos is focused on solutions that support data analytics to provide real time insights to better understand risk, create new dynamic product solutions, and reduce the frequency and severity of losses through active risk management.

“We are excited by the opportunity to collaborate with Marsh on these initiatives, working closely with their digital team.”
