Mentoring and mutual support

first became involved with the Association of Professional Insurance Women (APIW)—an organisation that was founded in 1976 by a group of women insurance professionals in order to support each other and celebrate all the contributions that women had made to the insurance industry—in 2002. It has continued to grow from strength to strength and has been a fantastic network of support for me and hundreds of other women in the sector.
