MGA Elseco hires ex-Tokio Marine/SCOR/Allianz experts to expand in space insurance market

Tech specialist MGA elseco has made a series of new hires to further expand its leadership, risk analysis, and modelling capabilities within the space insurance market.

Laurent Esquirol will join the elseco group in April as group space risks technical director. She was most recently head of space for Tokio Marine Kiln in Paris and before that senior space underwriter at SCOR.

Ludovic Arnoux joined elseco as client advocate and launch system technical advisor. He brings extensive experience in space engineering and space insurance underwriting. Arnoux has worked for the launcher operator Arianespace before joining Allianz where he held positions as senior space underwriter and global head of aerospace risk consulting at AGCS. Arnoux then created his consulting company providing risk management and insurance consultancy services to a wide range of international customers.

In addition to the two space insurance experts, the company has expanded its data science team to seven members.
