MGU Carbon draws head of professional lines from CNA Hardy

Specialist independent managing general underwriter (MGU)  Carbon Underwriting has hired a new head of professional lines from CNA Hardy.

Following seven years at the specialist commercial insurer, Howard Gras has moved to Carbon.

Prior to CNA, where he most recently served as class manager for professional indemnity, Gras was commercial PI manager at Nexus Executive Risks. Before that, he served as a director at Howden Insurance Brokers.

“Very much looking forward to reconnecting with my broker friends and clients over the coming weeks,” Gras said on LinkedIn.
