Miller hires Aon exec to develop offshore wind farms portfolio

Broker Miller has hired facultative reinsurance broker and producer Andrew Green from Aon Re. He will produce and place facultative reinsurance for the construction and operation of offshore wind farms, with an initial focus on Europe, Asia and the US.

Green began his career in 2005. He has specialised in re/insurance throughout his career, working for Newman Martin and Buchan, Aon and most recently Aon Re.

Advancements in offshore wind technology and ever-increasing turbine output, together with geographical expansion into territories with large CAT capacity requirements, mean insurers’ demand for cost effective facultative reinsurance solutions is at an all-time high.
