Miller hires Integro exec to lead facultative energy team

Re/insurance broker Miller has hired producer broker Ian Blick to manage and develop its energy facultative book of business.

In his new role, Blick will work predominantly with Neil Higgins and the London team.

Blick specialises in global energy and heavy industry facultative retrocession business, having previously worked for Aon, Guy Carpenter and most recently Integro, where he served as the head of reinsurance.

Neil Higgins, head of facultative reinsurance in London, said: "We pride ourselves on our industry knowledge and depth of experience, and Ian, along with our recent hires in the facultative property team, adds significantly to Miller’s facultative capabilities as a whole."
