Miller taps Lockton for new financial lines lead in Asia
Broker Miller has appointed a new financial lines lead for its business in Asia, hiring from Lockton.
William Seccombe joins from Lockton, where he was regional head of transactional risks in Asia Pacific, establishing the firm’s practice in the region. Prior to Lockton, he was managing director and practice leader for mergers & acquisitions at JLT in Asia and has also spent time at Willis and Price Forbes.
Ron Whyte, head of Miller Asia, said: “I am excited to be welcoming William to Miller as we continue to build out our product offering. William’s expertise across financial lines, particularly in transactional liability, will be invaluable to the team as we continue to enhance our core growth strategy to diversify by geography, product line and distribution channel.”
William Seccombe commented: “I greatly look forward to joining Miller and being part of such a growing and ambitious team. The Asian market represents a significant opportunity, and Miller’s entrepreneurial mindset offers a great foundation from which to build up a Financial Lines offering in the region.”
