MSIG lures Aegis onshore energy head
Mitsui Sumitomo Insurance Group (MSIG) at Lloyd’s has appointed Carl Bennett as class underwriter, energy. He will report to property underwriting manager Chris Bottomley.
Bennett joins from Aegis where he served, most recently, as head of onshore energy. Prior to that he was underwriter, onshore energy, where he wrote a global portfolio with an emphasis on North America. He has also held various broking roles at Marsh Global Markets and JLT Risk Solutions, focussing on North American power risks.
