Munich Re subsidiary HSB reshuffles board
Specialist engineering and construction insurer HSB Engineering Insurance, part of Munich Re, has made a number of changes to its board of directors.
Stephen Worrall has been appointed managing director having previously held the position of finance director. He joined HSB in November 2007 after nine years with PwC where he was a senior manager in the financial services audit department.
Tim James, formerly group sales manager, has been appointed to the board of directors as business development director. He joined HSB in 2000 and prior to this, he held a variety of business development positions within insurers and brokers, including a management role at Allianz.
In addition, Kelli Close-Smith, general counsel has been appointed company secretary.
Stephanie Watkins, chief executive officer of HSB, said: “These management changes and appointments to the Board are in recognition of the significant contribution that Stephen, Tim and Kelli have made to devising and executing our business and operational strategies.
“They will be instrumental, along with the senior management team, in developing the future strategic direction for the business and strengthening our position as a market leader in construction, engineering and renewable energy insurance.”
