Pardus hires Willis property underwriter

Pardus, a newly launched managing general agency, has appointed Nick Paine as head of North American property. Property will be the first of several classes that Pardus plans to launch this year.

Paine has spent the past two years at Willis as senior North American property underwriter and divisional director and brings with him a wealth of experience in the field of US commercial property.

Backed by Capita, Pardus was launched in May by Keith Thompson and Darren Stockman.

Pardus has now begun underwriting North American property business and will be looking to add further classes of business over the next six months.
