PartnerRe poaches CEO of life & health from SCOR Global

PartnerRe has appointed Marc Archambault as the chief executive officer (CEO) of its life and health unit.

He will be based in PartnerRe’s Zurich office, reporting to president and CEO Emmanuel Clarke.

Archambault will replace Marvin Pestcoe, who will continue as a member of PartnerRe’s executive management group as chief risk and actuarial officer.

Archambault joins PartnerRe from SCOR Global Life, where he led company’s regional market as CEO of Asia-Pacific. He served SCOR for 26 years as a member of its senior management, leading its growth strategies and product development initiatives across international markets.

As the new CEO and a member executive management team, Archambault will be responsible for expanding PartnerRe’s business and franchise in all markets.
