Probitas 1492 launches SPA headed by ex-Munich Re veteran
Following ‘In Principle’ Lloyd’s approval, Probitas 1492 has launched a special purpose arrangement (SPA), headed up by ex-Munich Re Syndicate deputy CUO, that will look to develop a diverse portfolio of marine & specialty business.
The “AdA SPA 2024” will be led by Natasha Jodrell, formerly deputy CUO of Munich Re Syndicate. Jodrell is a marine & specialty insurance veteran having spent nearly thirty years at the Watkins Syndicate and Munich Re Syndicate focussing on strategic planning, reinsurance and corporate culture.
The AdA team will look to develop a diverse portfolio of marine & specialty business building out from the existing portfolio that they have underwritten on behalf of Probitas 1492 Syndicate for the 2023 year of account. The portfolio was produced following the arrival of the ex-Munich Re energy team headed up by James Grainge
