Ryan Specialty completes acquisition of Oxford Insurance Services

Specialty insurance and risk management solutions provider Ryan Specialty Group has completed the  acquisition of the assets and operations of wholesale insurance brokerage Oxford Insurance Services, according to a Nov. 1 statement.

Headquartered in Houston, Texas, the acquired business is now part of R-T Specialty, the wholesale brokerage unit of Ryan Specialty Group.

Oxford is one of the largest wholesalers in the region serving brokers across the US and specializes in energy, construction, environmental, and other complementary markets, according to the statement.

In joining RT Specialty, Matt Galtney, CEO of Oxford, has become the president of RT Houston and leads RT Specialty’s energy practice group.
