SiriusPoint appoints new Bermuda CFO

Global specialty re/insurer  SiriusPoint has named a new chief financial officer (CFO) in Bermuda.

Jennifer Collier-Souza has been promoted to CFO of SiriusPoint Bermuda Insurance Company where she will work with the company's global CFO David Junius. She will also manage the Bermuda finance group, which is responsible for supporting the company’s Bermuda reinsurance team, along with accounting, operations, reporting and treasury functions.

Collier-Souza has nearly 19 years of re/insurance industry experience and will play a key role in the financial integration and support of the business.

She joined Third Point Re as senior financial accountant and has been with the company for eight years. She was most recently vice president of operations and reinsurance controller. She previously worked for Arch Re and RenaissanceRe in accounting roles, beginning her career at XL in 2002 as insurance accounting assistant.

Jenn brings an impressive combination of financial experience and reinsurance knowledge to the role and has already proven herself to be a cornerstone of the SiriusPoint team.”
