Skyward Specialty bolsters board with 30-year industry veteran
Skyward Specialty Insurance Group, a specialty property/casualty insurer, has tapped a veteran with 30 years of senior executive experience to its board of directors as an independent director.
Gena Ashe has joined the board of directors of Skyward Specialty as an independent director. She has 30 years of senior executive experience with public and private companies in various industries, including telecommunications, broadcasting, hospitality, big data, and logistics.
She currently serves as the chief legal officer and corporate secretary of Anterix, a wireless broadband infrastructure company, a position she has held since 2019. Prior to joining Anterix, Ashe held several senior legal roles, including with Brightview Services (Brightview Holdings), Adtalem Global Education, Public Broadcasting Service, Darden Restaurants, AT&T Corp, and Lucent Technologies.
She presently holds a position as an independent director at GXO Logistics and has previous board affiliations with XPO Logistics as well as XPO Logistics Europe, situated in Lyon, France, where she held the role of vice chair from 2017 to 2021.
