Stable poaches Peak’s CUO as president

Stable, the global hedging solutions provider, has poached Julia Henderson from Peak Capital in Bermuda, where she served as chief underwriting officer (CUO).

Henderson has served as an advisor to Stable’s board since September 2020, but now steps up to take on the role of president and head of portfolio management.

Henderson, who was a founding member of Peak’s ILS fund, previously served as senior vice president at Brit Insurance in Bermuda, co-launching Brit Syndicate 2987 and managing portfolios of property cat reinsurance, before joining Peak in 2018. She also co-founded Sussex Capital, Brit’s third party capital fund.

Before that she spent more than three years at PartnerRe as a senior underwriter for property cat reinsurance, as well as serving as a consultant at Nephila Capital. She also spent more than five years as an analyst at RenaissanceRe.
