Sun Life bolsters board with two appointments

Sun Life Financial (SLF) has appointed Stephanie Coyles and Greig Woodring to its board of directors, effective January next year.

As a member of the board, Coyles will serve on SLF’s governance, nomination and investment committee, and the audit and conduct review committee. Woodring will serve on the risk review committee, and management resources committee.

Woodring has over four decades of experience in the US and international insurance market. He is the chief executive officer of Reinsurance Group of America (RGA). He has previously worked at United Insurance Company in Chicago, General American Life Insurance (now GenAmerica Financial).

Coyles is a strategic consultant and advisor working with a diverse clientele across North America. She was previously the chief strategic officer at LoyaltyOne, and worked at McKinsey & Company Canada.
