Swiss Re Corporate Solutions hires HDI exec as new Mexico CEO

Swiss Re Corporate Solutions, the commercial insurance arm of Swiss Re, has appointed a new head of its operations in Mexico.

Sergio Bunin started as chief executive of Mexico, effective January 15. He previously served as head of Latin America / Asia at Talanx International, which recently became HDI International.

He has also previously served as president and CEO of TAPAUS and also as President of the National Reinsurance Institute.

Angelo Colombo, CEO Latin America Swiss Re Corporate Solutions, said: “I am delighted that Sergio leads our Mexican organization. Sergio has a deep experience in the business with more than 30 years in the market, making Sergio the perfect choice to lead the next phase of our organization’s growth.”
