Taal Volcano eruption has modest impact on insurance market

The agricultural sector bore the brunt of the damage from the Taal Volcano, which erupted on Luzon island, in the Philippines, on January 13, 2020, according to Chris Lim, financial analyst at AM Best, who said the sector employs nearly 40 percent of the country's total labour force.
