THB strengthens board with two non-exec appointments

Specialist re/insurer THB has appointed Lorraine Adlam as non-executive chairwoman and Malcolm Beane as independent non-executive director.

Adlam will chair THB’s risk committee, and has more than 35 years of broking and underwriting experience, having previously served as CEO of Novae’s Lloyd’s managing agency and head of Aon UK retail financial institutions.

Beane has over 43 years of experience in financial and accountancy roles, and will also chair the THB audit committee.

In the past 20 years, Beane has held a number of senior in-house and advisory positions, including chief operating officer, Brit Insurance.

Frank Murphy, CEO of THB Group, said: “It gives me great pleasure to welcome Lorraine and Malcolm and their exceptional respective talents to THB. I am sure they will be tremendous assets to our business.”
