Tokio Marine hires Zurich underwriter to expand professional risks unit

Specialty insurer Tokio Marine has appointed Keith Miller as professional indemnity (PI), development underwriter within its Manchester office to further build its North West region footprint.

With over twenty years of PI experience in the Manchester insurance market, Miller joins from Zurich where he held the position of senior trading underwriter. Previously, he has also held positions at Hiscox, QBE Insurance Group, and Towergate Insurance.

Tony Browne, managing director – professional risks, commented: "We are delighted that Keith and Katie have joined us. Our expanding Manchester team comprises of experienced underwriters who are committed to further building the Tokio Marine HCC regional footprint."

The company also recently hired Katie Garnett as professional indemnity assistant from Integro Insurance Brokers in its Manchester office.
