US motor insurance costs rise again, trim enduring gap to claims costs

July brought another all-time record for US automotive policy cost inflation as average policy costs for household consumers, taking another small bite out of the gap to claims cost inflation that built up during the pandemic, the latest inflation reading from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) has indicated.
