VIBE Re poaches AXIS Re veteran for first CEO

Richard Milner, formerly president and chief underwriting officer of AXIS Re London & Asia-Pacific has joined VIBE Reinsurance (VIBE Re) as its first CEO.

VIBE Re is a part of Syndicate Holding (SHC), the holding company of Vibe Syndicate Management which manages Lloyd's Syndicate 5678.

Milner has been with AXIS Re for the past twelve years, most recently as president & chief underwriting officer of AXIS Re London & Asia-Pacific. He was a member of the AXIS Re leadership group and held a number of senior roles at AXIS Re in Bermuda, Singapore and London, including head of global business development.

Prior to AXIS Re, Milner was vice president international treaty at PXRE in Bermuda, before which he was with Faraday Syndicate at Lloyd’s.

Milner will also become a member of VIBE's group executive committee and will report to group CEO Joe England.
