Willis Capital Markets & Advisory names SVP

Willis Towers Watson has appointed Daniel Ohana as senior vice president (SVP) of Willis Capital Markets & Advisory (WCMA), the firm’s investment banking business, based in London.

The appointment is effective October 31, and Ohana will report to Brian Shea, head of WCMA Europe.

Ohana has previously worked in the financial institutions group at Bank of America Merrill Lynch from 2007-2016, most recently as a director.

Prior to this, Ohana was an analyst at HSBC.

Shea said: “WCMA provides the world class execution of a bulge bracket bank with superior insurance industry insight.

“Daniel’s significant experience and strong track record of successful transactions, particularly in the UK insurance sector, will complement the team’s existing strengths and further strengthen our client offering. We are delighted to be welcoming Daniel to our growing WCMA team.”

Ohana added: “I am excited to be joining WCMA, a specialist advisor in the insurance sector, with a strong track record. I look forward to working with the team to deliver solutions to our clients and further advance client coverage.”
