WR Berkley hires former WTW/Aon executive for luxury division

WR Berkley has hired a property and casualty insurance executive with nearly 20 years of industry experience as president of Berkley Luxury Group.

Berkley Luxury Group is the insurer for luxury condos, co-ops, rentals, and upscale restaurants.

Shadi Albert (pictured) is a highly-experienced insurance executive. Most recently, he served as the executive vice president of strategy and business development in a key division at US insurance group Selective Insurance. Prior to that, he worked as AVP, reinsurance at broker WTW. Albert's previous experiences include roles at Aon and Guy Carpenter.
