WR Berkley taps Goldman Sachs exec for insurtech investment role

US insurer WR Berkley Corporation has appointed the lead equity analyst covering insurance at Goldman Sachs to join its corporate investment arm as a director.

In his newly-created role at WR Berkley, Michael Nannizzi will be responsible for evaluating investments in emerging insurance technology companies.
