Xchanging CEO steps down

Ken Lever, the chief executive officer of business technology and services provider Xchanging, has unveiled plans to retire at the end of 2015.

Xchanging confirmed that a search for his successor is currently underway.

Lever said: "It has been a great honour and privilege to lead Xchanging for the last four years. During that period the senior management team has supported me to achieve a transition of Xchanging from a traditional outsourcing business to one built on technology and technology enabled services.

“We have made significant progress but there is more to do. During the balance of my time as chief executive I shall continue to work diligently with the management team to deliver the group strategy. I have greatly valued my time in the role of chief executive at Xchanging.”

Geoff Unwin, chairman, said: "Ken's drive and determination has led the transformation of Xchanging, and we now need to build on the strong foundation which has been laid to drive sales growth and generate returns on the investments we have made so as to enhance value to our shareholders."
