XL Catlin elevates McAdams to global marine CUO
Re/insurer XL Catlin has promoted Rob McAdams to the position of chief underwriting officer for global marine.
Previously, McAdams held the role of UK/ Ireland marine leader.
Prior to joining legacy XL, he held positions at Reliance National in New York. He is an associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute, and a chartered property and casualty underwriter.
“We are delighted that Rob has stepped into this position," Doug Howat, chief executive for global lines at XL Catlin, commented. "Rob has been with XL Catlin since 2000 and during this time has honed his expertise spanning Hull, Ports & Terminals, and Global Marine & Upstream Energy Liabilities. He has shown great leadership skills in his former roles and has exactly the right experience and expertise to steer strategy for our Marine team at a global level."
