XL strengthens Iberian claims team

XL Group’s insurance operation in Iberia has made two appointments as the group seeks to strengthen its financial lines capabilities.

Alejandra Llobera has been appointed as senior claims specialist for financial lines and Mónica Novillo has been promoted to deputy claims manager.

Llobera and Novillo are based in Madrid and will report to Aránzazu Arana, head of claims for Western Europe & Latin America.

Llobera has worked as an insurance lawyer for the last 13 years, specialising in civil liability insurance including directors and officers, employment practice liability, general liability, professional liability and professional indemnity.

Novillo has 14 years of claims experience with brokers and insurers and joined XL in 2011 as a claims specialist for Spain and Portugal. Prior to XL, Novillo worked at Direct Seguros, Willis Iberia, Marsh & McLennan and HDI Seguros.
