Zurich appoints new Malaysia CEO to drive life business growth

Zurich Insurance Group has appointed Khoo Ai Lin as the new chief executive officer (CEO) of its Kuala Lumpur-headquartered life insurance business Zurich Malaysia.

Ai Lin succeeds Stephen Clark, who will remain as executive director for Zurich Life Insurance Malaysia Berhad (ZLIMB).

She will be responsible for leading and executing Zurich Malaysia’s strategic priorities to grow its life insurance business, reporting to ZLIMB board of directors.

Ai Lin has more than 20 years of experience in various strategic and senior management roles across both the life and general insurance segments, most recently as the group CEO of Tune Protect Group.

Clark said: “Ai Lin has an excellent understanding of the insurance markets in Malaysia with a compelling breadth of expertise ranging from life to general insurance as well as digital platforms and innovation in her portfolio.
