Insurers brace for C$1.3bn hit from 2024 Jasper wildfire
Insured losses from the wildfire that tore through Canada’s Jasper National Park between July 22 and August 17, 2024, are expected to hit C$1.3 billion ($958 million), according to CatIQ, the Canada-based arm of Perils.
