Insurers call out Louisiana move to have commissioner interfere with rates

Any strides Louisiana is making on tort reform, putting a lid on vexatious and outrageous legal claims against supposedly negligent organisations or individuals, could be undone if policymakers approve a bill extending politics into rate setting, a core industry lobby group has warned.
