Insurers face $1bn AerCap payout after judge sides with aircraft lessors

Re/insurers are staring at a colossal defeat after a London court agreed with lessors who lost aircraft in the wake of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine that the loss clearly triggered their war-risk policies.
