P&I Clubs members push for bigger share of $6bn cash pile

Protection and indemnity (P&I) Clubs, the mutual insurance associations which provide liability cover for shipowners, are coming under pressure to loosen the purse strings and return reserves back to members. Some estimates put these reserves collectively at around $6 billion.
