Juniper Re partners with Canopy on severe storm response
Specialist reinsurance broker Juniper Re, an indirect subsidiary of BRP Group, has partnered with weather analytics solutions provider Canopy Weather on severe convective storm response analytics.
The strategic collaboration aims to provide Juniper Re’s clients with risk management insights and more informed storm-related loss estimates.
Canopy and Juniper Re intend to work closely with insurers, MGAs, and other providers of insurance products to deliver detailed hazard analytics for tornado, hail, and wind in near real-time. They believe it will allow carriers to better estimate losses, allocate resources, and enhance the customer experience.
