LA wildfire claims show enduring valuation gap; treaty could snap

California wildfires are highlighting deficiencies in insured property valuations which, although not reversing the primary rate trend, could create pricing dislocation in the reinsurance market backing those portfolios, analysts at Price Forbes have suggested.
