Lagos deploys parametric flood cover, unlocks $7.5m response fund

Lagos State government has secured a parametric flood-risk insurance policy in the Nigerian market, covering up to 4 million vulnerable people and providing up to $7.5 million for flood response and recovery, as climate pressures intensify across the coastal megacity.
