Lancashire warns underwriters not to give brokers ‘everything’ as market softens

Bermuda-based re/insurer Lancashire Group’s chief executive has warned underwriters against conceding too much ground to brokers as pricing pressures intensify, arguing that the market remains in a softening phase rather than a fully-fledged soft market.
