Leftover cedant demand after 1/1? Sure, but for what kind of capital?

The 1/1 2026 reinsurance renewals placed the supply side of the equation in clear view, with rising capacity and reinsurer appetites in plain sight, but left true demand relatively veiled as the savviest cedants see much more than just trade-offs between price savings and coverage expansion when filling their 1/1 shopping carts.
