Liberty Mutual Re makes parametric earthquake payout to Mexico

Liberty Mutual Reinsurance has made a parametric insurance payment to the Mexican government following a magnitude 7.3 earthquake off the country’s southern coast on July 17, triggering coverage within weeks of the inception of the government’s nationwide earthquake and volcanic risk programme.
