Liberty Specialty appoints head of US and LatAm war & terrorism
Liberty Specialty Markets (LSM), part of Liberty Mutual Insurance Group, has bolstered its war & terrorism line leadership to drive profitable growth in the US and Latin America.
The company has promoted Anabella Frontado to a newly created role of head of war & terrorism, US and Latin America. Frontado will dually report to William Goldberg, chief of staff, LSM US & LatAm and Mike Burle, interim global head of war & terrorism. Frontado is based in Miami, US.
Frontado has held a number of key roles since joining LSM in 2011, most recently as underwriting officer, War and Terror, North America. Previously, she was underwriting manager, casualty, Latin America for a decade. Prior to joining Liberty, she has had several liability roles.
With more than 18 years of experience in the insurance industry, working within the UK, US and LatAm markets, Frontado will be responsible for the profitable growth of the line in the US and LatAm while continuing to work closely with claims and underwriting teams to provide solutions for clients and brokers.
Lillian Hua, underwriting specialist, war & terrorism, US and LatAm will continue to support the team. Additionally, Deiby Rios will join the organisation as underwriting officer. Both will write business in both LatAm and US and report to Frontado.
