Liberty Specialty Markets plucks WTW talent to head distribution

Liberty Specialty Markets (LSM) has plucked the global head of carrier management from insurance brokerage group WTW to head up its global distribution efforts.

Andrew Jackson will step into the newly crafted role of global head of business development and market management to oversee distribution of insurance solutions to brokers and clients and manage the global distribution strategy for target markets around the world.

Jackson comes to Liberty Specialty Markets after an eight year tour at WTW, including as global head of carrier management. Jackson replaces Mark Stephenson, formerly head of business development and market relationships.

Phil Hobbs, Liberty’s president and managing director, said: “I am delighted to welcome Andrew to our leadership team. His vast, combined broking and underwriting experience will be an enormous asset to us as we build on our existing relationships with clients and brokers. We look forward to the significant contribution Andrew will make to delivering LSM’s goals in 2024 and beyond.”
