Limited earnings impact on European insurers from France, Spain wildfires: Fitch

The wildfires in France and Spain are expected to have only a limited near-term impact on the 2026 earnings of most large European insurers, provided the fires do not spread into densely populated residential, commercial or industrial areas, said Fitch Ratings.
