Lloyd’s can’t lean on yesterday’s profits like it once did, says Argenta

Lloyd’s syndicates may be increasingly dependent on current-year underwriting results even as the market ploughs ever deeper into the current softening phase and just as commentary from syndicate management suggests the underwriting could be increasingly directed to third-party distribution channels, Argenta says in market research.
