Lloyd’s gives final approval for Santam’s Syndicate 1918

African non-life insurer Santam has launched Syndicate 1918 with Lloyd’s go-ahead to start underwriting from January 1, 2026. Lloyd’s gave the syndicate “in-principle” approval to launch back in July.
